  • Primary care from a healthcare provider who is knowledgeable about transgender issues
  • Hormonal treatment
  • Mental health care and counseling

For more information, see Frequently Asked Questions.

MIT Medical is committed to providing comprehensive, supportive, personalized healthcare and information to individuals with diverse expressions of gender and sexuality and are proud to have been ranked as a top performer in the Human Rights Campaign 2020 Healthcare Quality Index. We understand that gender identity exists within a broad spectrum and that transgender people and those with questions about gender identity may have unique needs that require experienced and supportive healthcare providers and services. (See also LGBTQ Health at MIT Medical.)

*Because some states have laws restricting the provision of telehealth services across state lines, MIT Medical’s telehealth services are available only to patients who are physically located in Massachusetts at the time of the appointment.

If you have additional questions or concerns about your care or accessing services, please contact Colleen McDonald, nurse practitioner, at 617-258-9355.
