The Joint Commission: MIT Medical is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare. This accreditation demonstrates our compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for the safety and quality of patient care. International Association of Counseling Services: MIT Medical’s Student Mental Health & Counseling Services is fully accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS). IACS Accreditation is a voluntary, peer review, evaluative process involving a written self-study and the adherence to established standards of practice.

MIT Medical has received an evaluation of 95 out of 100 and the designation of “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Top Performer” in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 15th anniversary edition of the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey of healthcare facilities on policies and practices dedicated to the equitable treatment and inclusion of their LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees.
