Selecting a primary care provider (PCP) at MIT Medical is an important first step toward staying healthy while you’re at school. But if you have a chronic medical condition, it’s even more important.
MIT Medical’s Health Screening Service reviews the Student Medical Report Form submitted by each incoming student. If you report a condition for which you will need continuing care at MIT, someone from MIT Medical will contact you prior to your arrival on campus to remind you to choose a PCP and make an initial appointment as soon as possible. You’ll also get information on how to transfer your medical record to MIT Medical, so your new PCP will have the information they need to provide you with the very best care.
