Mind the Moment at MIT
Community Wellness at MIT Medical is partnering with Mind the Moment to offer specially designed mindfulness programs for MIT departments and labs.
Each four- to six-week Mind the Moment course is designed to provide MIT staff and faculty with tools to better manage stress and increase personal resilience through mindfulness, a concentrated state of awareness that helps people see and respond to situations with clarity. Classes may include sitting meditation, walking meditation, body-scan meditation (bringing awareness to each of your body parts sequentially), mindful eating, and mindful listening.
Koru Mindfulness is an evidence-based curriculum specifically designed for teaching mindfulness, meditation, and stress management to college students and other young adults. Koru Basic is an introduction to mindfulness and meditation taught as a weekly, four-week, 75-minute class by a trained and certified Koru teacher.
