More than 4,000 get flu shots at the year’s first clinic

MIT Medical clinicians vaccinated more 4,000 members of the Institute community at MIT’s first flu clinic of 2018, held on Wednesday, October 3 at Walker Memorial. During the busiest hours of the day, clinicians gave vaccinations at a rate equal to one shot every five seconds. 

Two more walk-in clinics will be held on campus: October 16, 3–7 p.m., Stratton Student Center (Building W20), and October 18, 3–6 p.m., Tang Center (Building E51). There will also be walk-in clinics in the cafeteria at MIT Lincoln Laboratory on October 24 and 25, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. each day.
