MIT Medical wants to help you stay healthy this fall and winter with a walk-in flu-shot clinic this Thursday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the second floor of the Stratton Student Center (Building W20) on the Cambridge campus.
This clinic is open to MIT Medical patients (age 10 and up), MIT retirees, and ALL employees, students, and affiliates.
Please bring your MIT ID if you have one.
Each year's active influenza strains are different, so you need to get the 2014 shot to be protected—even if you got a flu shot last year.
If you can't make the clinic on the 16th, a second walk-in flu-shot clinic is planned for Wednesday, October 22.
The schedule for flu clinics at our Lexington campus can be found here.
For information about how to get a flu shot if you can't attend one of the campus-wide clinics, eligibility questions, and more details about the flu vaccine, check out our Flu FAQ page. While you're there, take some time to browse the information and resources available on the rest of MIT Flu Central on how to protect yourself from influenza. We also invite you to check in at the MIT Medical homepage periodically to find up-to-date health and medical information for the MIT community.
