Student Mental Health and Counseling Services can help students who are experiencing symptoms of stress or depression, dealing with sleep difficulties or relationship problems, or trying to cope with other concerns. Clinicians are also available to speak with parents, friends, or professors who are worried about an individual student. Although we can’t usually share specific information about patients, we can offer advice about ways you can help.
With more than 20 clinicians on staff, there’s never a wait list for ongoing clinical care or urgent consultations. Students will have an initial appointment within a week of contacting the service. For very urgent matters, mental health clinicians are on call 24 hours a day.
