Who can receive care at MIT Medical/Lexington?

MIT Medical/Lexington’s family practitioners provide primary care services to children and adults who are covered by an MIT employee health plan and who have chosen a primary care provider (PCP) at the practice.

We also serve the employment-related medical needs of the Lincoln Laboratory workforce, providing work-related travel medicine and physical exams, treatment for on-the-job injuries, and flu shots.

If you have a PCP here, you’ll come to us for routine healthcare or when you’re sick or hurt. If you do not have a PCP here, you may see us only for work-related medical care. You may also take advantage of other MIT Medical programs and services for the entire Lexington community. However, we cannot provide non-work-related routine care or sick visits to employees who do not have PCPs at MIT Medical.
