Pediatrics

If you have purchased an MIT health plan for your children, they can receive their care in MIT Medical’s Pediatric Service.

To get started, you will have to transfer your child’s medical record (and make sure the immunization record is in English), fill out a medical history form for your child, and choose a primary care provider (PCP) for your child.

Read more about getting started in Pediatrics.

Make an appointment for your child. The Pediatrics Service is not a walk-in clinic. If you want a doctor or nurse to see your child, you must call to schedule an appointment.

  • In Cambridge: Call 617-253-1505
  • In Lexington:  Call 781-981-7080

When you call Pediatrics, tell us why your child needs an appointment. This is very important, because it allows us to schedule the right kind of appointment and the right number of appointments. For example, if your child only needs a shot, he or she can have a short appointment with a nurse rather than a longer appointment with a PCP.
