All about appointments

If you have the MIT Affiliate Health Plan, you will choose a primary care provider (PCP) at MIT Medical. When you want to see your PCP, you will have to make an appointment. The easiest way to make an appointment is to call your PCP’s office. When you call, explain why you need the appointment. If you are sick or hurt, you will get an appointment very soon. If you just need a routine physical exam, you might have to wait several weeks or even a month. Read more about appointments with your PCP.

Your first appointment: If you are seeing your PCP for the first time, you will need to fill out a medical history form. You can download the form in English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, or Korean. Print the form, fill it out at home, and bring it with you to your first appointment.

Interpreter services are available. Many international patients use our interpreter service when they call or come into MIT Medical. When you call or come to the office, just say, “I want to use the interpreter line” or “I need an interpreter.” Watch the video to see how it works.
