SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, MIT Medical, to provide financial reporting and analysis of complex financial results to MIT Medical management through the use of sophisticated reporting tools and data analytics. Will prepare highly analytical, complex, and specialized financial analyses. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring the annual budget and other department funds; conducting financial modeling as well as forecasting various financial scenarios and needs; preparing forecasts at the cost center level and consolidating at the department level; and developing presentation materials that support the strategic goals of the organization.
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business plus; at least four years of experience as a financial analyst (or in a similar position) in a complex organization; professional experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, budgeting and accounting, and preparing narrative analyses and financial reports using statistical, cost, and financial data; experience working with complex business processes; experience with data modeling, spreadsheets, and databases; excellent analytical, interpersonal, customer service, and written and oral communication skills; keen attention to detail; effective judgment when dealing with sensitive matters; ability to keep colleagues informed about procedures/requirements/deadlines, meet deadlines, and work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes; and advanced-level experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
