Registered Nurse, OBGYN

REGISTERED NURSE, OBGYNMIT Medical, to provide nursing care to the patient population of an assigned service area. Will provide direct patient care according to age-specific plans of care that are within the scope of practice of a registered nurse; utilize the principles of telephone and waiting room triage and established guidelines in response to each patient’s needs; and play a critical role in providing health education, supportive counseling, and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Medical.

REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree; current RN license in Massachusetts; CPR certification; at least three years of experience as a registered nurse in pediatrics, women’s health, or family medicine ambulatory clinic or private practice setting; ability to easily access data, interpret age-specific needs, and provide nursing care in collaboration with others; fluency with EMR systems, preferably Cerner; and experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
