Registered Nurse, Family Medicine

REGISTERED NURSE, FAMILY MEDICINE, MIT Medical (2 openings), to provide nursing care to the patient population of an assigned service area. Will provide direct patient care according to age-specific plans of care that is within the scope of practice of a registered nurse; utilize the principles of telephone and waiting room triage and established guidelines in response to each patient’s needs; and play a critical role in providing health education, supportive counseling, and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Medical. 

REQUIRED: B.S. in nursing; graduation from an accredited nursing program; current RN license in Massachusetts; CPR certification; at least three years of experience as a registered nurse in pediatrics, women’s health, or family medicine in an ambulatory clinic or private practice setting; ability to easily access data, interpret age-specific needs, and provide nursing care in collaboration with others; fluency with EMR systems (Cerner preferred); and experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Access). Job #22192
