NURSE PRACTITIONER, MIT Medical, to join the Urgent Care Service. Will use solid family practice experience and strong triage and clinical skills to perform orthopedic assessments and minor surgical procedures, assess episodic gynecologic complaints, and common infectious diseases. Must be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively as a member of the Urgent Care Team.
REQUIRED: certification as a family nurse practitioner; current Massachusetts’ license to practice in the expanded role; current CPR certification, ACLS preferred; at least three years’ experience delivering episodic or emergency care to adults, adolescents, and children; experience with an electronic medical record. The position includes working weekday, early evening, and weekend hours and some holidays. There will be no overnight call.
