Community Wellness at MIT Medical
Community Wellness can provide information and techniques to revitalize your mind and body, help you focus better, and reduce stress. We provide classes and workshops on many topics including:
- Mindfulness-based stress reduction
- Tai chi
- Other stress-management techniques
Mind the Moment at MIT
Each four- to six-week Mind the Moment course is designed to provide MIT staff, faculty, and students with tools to better manage stress and increase personal resilience through mindfulness, a concentrated state of awareness that helps people see and respond to situations with clarity. Classes may include sitting meditation, walking meditation, body-scan meditation (bringing awareness to each of your body parts sequentially), mindful eating, and mindful listening.
